Alserkal Avenue Art Week 2015

Founded in 2007, Alserkal Avenue is a hub for the creative arts and cultural development. Spread across 250,000 square ft, Alserkal Avenue’s creative warehouse spaces coexist with industrial workshops. The Avenue houses numerous galleries of international repute, dynamic art spaces, and homegrown cultural initiatives.
The Avenue brings dynamism to Dubai’s arts community: the galleries are diverse, representing emerging, mid-career and established artists, in addition to hosting exhibitions, talks, panel discussions, young collector’s auctions and community events.The Alserkal Avenue Art Week 2015 is an initiative supported by the Alserkal family, the Patrons of the Arts. The Alserkal Avenue Art Week 2015 (March 16 – 22) includes the Galleries Night, Art Dubai Commissions unveiling, Cinema Akil Outbox short film festival, and the Thinkers & Doers discussion.During the Galleries Night galleries will simultaneously open their doors and welcome the community with Contemporary art exhibitions and events to mark the opening of Dubai’s 2015 Art Week.
