Similar to naturally risen areas across the world, such as Los Angeles’s Arts District, Shoreditch in London and the Meat Packing District in New York, Alserkal Avenue Arts District is home to internationally acclaimed galleries, putting together the top shows in the region. What sets Alserkal Avenue apart from other arts districts are the creative spaces that coexist with minimalist industrial style warehouses and workshops. Galleries in Alserkal Avenue represent emerging, mid-career and established artists, with over six actively taking part in Art Dubai 2014 includingLawrie Shabibi, Green Art Gallery, Grey Noise, Ayyam Gallery, Carbon 12 and Gallery Isabelle Van Den Eynde.
